In 2010 the Town Board initiated new regulations regarding the operation of the Town Transfer Site. The major changes involved the selling of transfer site permits, limiting the amount of trash to five bags per day per visit and no construction debris.
Any rural resident in the Town can use the Transfer Site provided you obtain an annual permit from the Town Clerk.
Permits for can be picked up starting middle of November each year. Year around residents will pay $30.00 with a limit of 2 permits per household.
Seasonal residents will pay $20.00 with a limit of 2 permits per household. Seasonal permits are valid from April 1 to November 1 and may be purchased beginning March 15.
Normal household refuse provided it is bagged.
If it is not bagged we will not accept it.
Limit five (5) bags per family per day.

NON ACCEPTABLE ITEMS
No construction debris of any kind, no lumber, sheetrock, windows, doors, roofing, etc.
No furniture of any kind
No carpet or carpet padding
No hazardous materials
Transfer Site is located on the Game Farm Road between the General Brown High School and the Village of Brownville.
