The Development Authority of the North Country has partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County to create the position of a Recycling Educator. Sayre Stevens will be working with schools and businesses in the tri-county area to educate students, faculty, employers and employees about recycling and waste reduction. Sayre is available to assist with the development or the improvement of recycling programs. He will also provide classroom presentations and education about the 3R's and composting.
