The Development Authority of the North Country is hosting an Open House / 25th Anniversary Celebrations at its Solid Waste Management Facility, 23400 NYS Rt 177, Rodman, NY on Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Activities Include:
- Landfill bus tours
- Nature Walks
- Thompson Park Zoo live animals
- Rick West Birds of Prey
- "Touch a Truck"-get in the driver's seat of large trucks and equipment
- Children's Craft Projects reusing materials
- Presentations and Displays
Directions:
From Interstate 81 take Exit 42. Drive 7 miles east on NYS Rt 177. Entrance is on the right.
From US Rt 11, Turn east on NYS Rt 177 in Adams Center. Drive 6 miles, entrance is on the right.
